Ashurst, often called the gateway to the New Forest, is the ideal location for walking, cycling and wildlife. It is within easy access of the M27. Ashurst Railway Station, which is on the main line from London Waterloo to Bournemouth/Weymouth and is only 10 minutes walk away. Cycle hire is available from The Happy Cheese pub (booking advisable).
Ashurst has eating places to suite all tastes including Indian, Chinese, Bistro as well as the traditional 'Fish & Chips' These restaurants, as well as three pubs, are all within walking distance of the B&B.
